John Wager, my great, great, great grandfather, married Sarah, born about 1810 in Hunslet.

They had 2 daughters whom I have found: Rebeckah, born 1833, and Hannah, born 1835.

He appears on the 1841 Census as 30 years old and his wife is called Martha. I believe she married a person named Waddington but I have no other information.

i would welcome any information from any family member or person with knowledge of her Submitted by: roy stacey Address: 6 cherry tree dell sheffield s119dn email: [email protected] I am a decendent of Sir Richard Waddy.

I have family geneology written by Percy L Waddy and John Leonard Waddy which goes back to 1066.

Please email me so that we may continue this quest.

If anyone knows anymore about them or the old house I would dearly appreciate if you could let me know.

Submitted by: Tina Wagener email: [email protected] Wager I am trying to find out more about the Wager family from Hunslet.

He came from Hainworth, a tiny hamlet above Keighley though in the more distant Bingley parish then.

I am trying to confirm that his parents were William Waddington born 1771 and Sarah Moore (info passed onto me) but am finding it tricky to source using parish records.

I’d be delighted to receive any information about the family.
